OIL GUN SPRAY TIPS
- The most important aspect of firing oil is using the correct spray tips
- At CCE & CE, spray tips are specifically engineered for fuel type, flow rate, operating pressures, and turndown requirements.
- We use genuine tool steels and heat-treated to maintain its hardness at elevated temperatures.
- Other materials can also be provided for service with corrosive chemicals or other extreme conditions.
MECHANICAL SPRAY ATOMIZATION
CCE & CE’s mechanical spray tips are for systems that rely on the pressure of the oil for atomization.
STRAIGHT MECHANICAL ATOMIZATION
- Do not require a pressure regulating oil gun fuel return system
- For single pipe oil guns
WIDE RANGE MECHANICAL ATOMIZATION
- For parallel pipe or concentric style oil guns
- Large turndown
- Inlet pressure remains high during turndown
- Require a pressure regulating oil gun fuel return system
STEAM / AIR ATOMIZING SPRAY TIPS
These spray tips are systems that use steam or air as the oil-atomizing medium.
INTERNAL MIX TIPS
- Improves atomization for problem fuels
- Accommodates a wide range of steam Quality
- For parallel pipe or concentric style oil guns
EXTERNAL MIX TIPS
- Reduces steam/air consumption
- No constant pressure differential between oil and air/steam
- No tip resizing required when changing atomization medium or fuel
- For parallel pipe or concentric style oil guns
