  • Above the coal feeder:

 Located below the silo/bunker outlet, it controls the flow of material to the coal feeder and also out of the silo.

  • Above the pulverizer:

Above the pulverizer, as a cut-off/modulating gate between the coal feeder and pulverizer.  Also to provide a barrier for leakage and isolation.

  • Below the hoppers and inlet chutes:

 The CCE&CE design is excellent when a large valve is needed as a shut-off gate for hoppers.
